Howdy, folks! To start this off, we will do a "simple" one. :)
Sketch a scene where the characters are interacting or dealing with the weather, from tornadoes and thunderstorms, to balmy summer evenings.
Are they relaxed, or harried? Is it because of the weather? Better yet, is it in spite of the weather?
Is the weather coming, here, going, or gone?
Are they caught in it, or preparing to go out?
That's it for now, lets see what unconventional, fresh ideas we can come up with with such a cliché theme. :)

:D :D :D Ha ha ha! That's so awesome! I could totally see that as a mini animation.

This could use more love. It's a fun idea.
Drinks on the beach, it's just a little rain.

Figured I'd add a little doodle heres.
On the one hand, I love spring weather, on the other, my sinuses do seem to object so to floral hanky-panky.

That's a very nice picture, WolfReign - you're coming along well in your work. He looks genuinely worried (but not overly so) about going out there. Though I suppose he'll be about as safe out there as under a tree in a lightning storm. :)
Perhaps you can do some tree studies in your sketchbook. Leaves are always difficult since there is such a large quantity of them...

I thought about how hot days can be really uncomfortable, so drew the "quick brown fox" enjoying the shade while the "lazy dog" struggled to get out of the sun. Viewing a lot of cat and dog pictures recently, I also opted for showing a dog's reaction to rain versus a cat's reaction to rain... a cat's reaction to the dog's reaction to the rain.
These were sketched using a Pentel Pocket brush pen on a Robert Bateman sketchbook.

Heh heh! That's just what a cat would be thinking too, I'm sure.

I beg to differ - my cat LOVES the rain! XD I keep a towel handy for just such an occassion! :)
PS he also likes sitting in the stall with you while you're showering. XD

Wow, the background might be a fail, but the pose is a real win. She is standing in a really natural and believable pose. Nicely done!
